Concord’s Bicycle Music Company signs global deal with Daniel Lanois

The Bicycle Music Company has entered into an exclusive global publishing agreement with Grammy Award-winning songwriter, artist and producer, Daniel Lanois.

Lanois is a renowned music producer and has worked on albums by U2, Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel, Emmylou Harris, Neil Young and Willie Nelson, amongst others.

Lanois’ own recordings include acclaimed solo releases such as “Acadie” (1989) on Brian Eno’s Opal imprint, “For The Beauty Of Wynona” (1993), the soundtrack to “Sling Blade” (1996), “Shine” (2003), “Belladonna” (2005) and “Flesh And Machine” (2014).

Coming full circle to the ambient and experimental work where he and Brian Eno were pioneers during the 1980’s, Lanois has completed a new album with collaborator Rocco Deluca, titled “Goodbye To Language,” set for release September 9, 2016 on ANTI Records, his label home since 2003.

“Goodbye To Language” is a steel guitar symphony composed and performed by Lanois and Deluca.

It  was recorded in Lanois’ fabled Bella Vista studio in Silver Lake, CA.
